With its broad trunk and far-reaching branches, the baobab tree seems like a natural, giant protector. 'The baobab tree is mostly found in the northern part of Ghana, and people build around it for the shade that protects them from the sun,' explains Godwin Atta Geoman. Painting with watercolors, Geoman details a couple of people returning to their village built under the protection of this most impressive tree.
