Named Ohene, or 'king' in the Twi language of Ghana's Akan people, this handsome mask is serenely lovely. Marks beside the eyes and mouth are known as donkor. 'Donkor is a tribal mark given to protect a child from evil spirits in Ghana,' artisan Winfred Korley says.
