Costa Rican artisan Higinia Gonzalez handcrafts a fun and stylish shoulder bag that can be worn across the body or over the shoulder, perfect for the woman on the go. The strap and lively striped cotton fabric are handwoven on a backstrap loom using time-honored techniques with thread hand dyed by the artisan. Using all natural dyes, the artisan chooses burnt sienna for the background with bold vertical and horizontal stripes in black, pastel blue, and tangerine orange. The main compartment is lined in chestnut brown cotton and secures with a zipper. The bag also has an exterior zippered pocket.
