Light of the Cross

Working with cedar wood that displays a rich natural grain, Carlos Jimenez creates this faithful sculpture. A majestic cross with flared ends reveals negative space inside that depicts a second cross with rectangular edges. 'For me, crosses have a great significance; they represent the symbol of love of our Lord Jesus Christ,' the Guatemalan artisan confides.

A brass hook at the back facilitates wall display. Alternately, the image attaches to a cedar base with a screw (included).
