Tropical Star

Recycling paper, members of the Working and Learning Together group create a set of four Christmas stars. Rolling paper into flattened cylinders, they form the shape with nylon thread and add a coat of varnish to protect them. Two red and two yellow stars celebrate the tropical colors of Guatemala. 'We love crafting ornaments, especially for the holidays,' the artisans say.
