In an effort to become more economically empowered, the young women at Jalapa Girl Jewelsmiths from Guatemala work together to craft elegant jewelry. Using fine silver, the artisans craft a pendant in the shape of a cross with a shimmering finish, expressing their Christian roots. The pendant hangs on a length of red leather cord that closes at the back with a sterling silver clasp.
