Igwebuike Strength

Ghanaian artisan Abdul Razak proudly hand-carves this mask from local sese wood. Taking the form of an elongated face, the mask features beautifully etched designs with embossed aluminum adorning the cheeks. Razak finished the mask with colors of brown and red, rubbing the mask with clay for an antiqued look. He names it Igwebuike, meaning 'unity is strength' in Igbo.
