Strawberry Embrace

This Nicaraguan shawl is handwoven of mercerized cotton for a comfortable, durable accessory that embraces the shoulders. The women at Artistic Weavers of Zapatera Island weave the shawl on the comb loom through a process that takes two days to complete. Featuring a solid color in strawberry red, the shawl is finished with striped patterns along its length and hand-knotted fringes on each end.
