Pastel Geometry

In pastel tones, geometric motifs decorate the body of this shoulder bag, handwoven of cotton on the telar de cintura, or backstrap loom in the style of Guatemalan textiles. Mirian Otzin designs the bag, draping over the shoulder on two straps. The bag opens with a tasseled zipper to a lined cotton interior in blue, complete with a zipper pocket at the side. Says Mirian, 'I love the great variety of colors that we can appreciate in our beautiful country, because of this I wanted to translate them in this little bag.'
