Textile Splendor

Made primarily of leather in a chestnut color, this sling handbag is designed by Guatemalan designer Maura Parra, who works with local families of artisans to realize her creations. The front flap of the handbag features beautiful diamond motifs in a variety of colors that are handwoven on the backstrap loom from cotton. With an adjustable strap, the handbag features a zipper pocket on the back, and has a zippered gusset to expand its size. This Guatemalan creation opens with a magnetic snap to reveal a cotton lining in beige with a single inner zipper pocket. It arrives in a cotton storage bag.
