Maya Beginnings

By Jorge Lopez, this bracelet depicts an ancient Maya hieroglyph. Represented by a hummingbird, the Iq glyph is shaped like a temple window designed to let the spirit of the wind blow through. It symbolizes the day that life began, according to the Maya. The jade pendant centers a black faux leather cord.

The etched image may fade somewhat over time, as a result of absorbing body oils and/or skincare products. Simply wash the pendant with soap and water and let it dry to refresh the design.
