Maya Generations

By Jorge Lopez, this unique bracelet depicts an ancient hieroglyph in jade. The Aj glyph represents new generations, according to the Maya. Two loops at the top depict tender plant shoots, and the vertical lines symbolize sugar cane and trees. The horizontal lines in the center represent the multiplication of furrows as well as the horizon. Its animal nahual connecting humans with deities is the armadillo. The pendant centers a black faux leather cord.

The etched image may fade somewhat over time, as a result of absorbing body oils and/or skincare products. Simply wash the pendant with soap and water and let it dry to refresh the design. Jade, polyester leather
