Dangling from a hook, a red snapper becomes a symbol of tradition in the work of Christian Bustamante. 'In El Salvador fishing is one of the most important activities, and is still done in a traditional, what we call artisanal way. It is the main source of income for many families,' explains the Salvadoran artist. Painting with bright acrylics, Bustamante takes care to detail the fish known as pargo in El Salvador, where fishing is one of the trades with the most associations.
